Bang Bang! is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Siddharth Anand and written by Abbas Tyrewala, Sujoy Ghosh and Suresh Nair. Produced by Fox Star Studios, it is a remake of the 2010 American film Knight and Day and stars Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, while co-starring Javed Jaffrey and Danny Denzongpa, with Jimmy Sheirgill in a special appearance. The film follows a mysterious international criminal on the run, whose encounter with an unassuming bank receptionist sets off a chain of events resulting in a series of escapades. the film attracted praise towards its action sequences and grossed ₹332 crore (US$44 million) globally to become the one of the top grossing Bollywood film of 2014.


Entertainment is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film written and directed by screenwriter duo Sajid-Farhad and produced by Ramesh S. Taurani under Tips Industries Limited banner. Based on an original story by K. Subash, the film stars Junior - The wonder dog as the titular protagonist and Akshay Kumar, along with Tamannaah, Mithun Chakraborty, Johnny Lever, Prakash Raj and Sonu Sood. The film was released on 8 August 2014. Receiving negative reviews from critics, it became a commercial failure. Entertainment was a commercial failure, earning ₹1.03 billion (US$14 million) worldwide at the box office.


Kick is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language action film produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, and starring Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Kick is an official remake of a 2009 Telugu film released with same title, and has been made under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in collaboration with UTV Motion Pictures on a reported budget of ₹140 crore (US$19 million). Kick grossed over ₹402 crore (US$53 million) worldwide becoming a blockbuster success and emerged as Khan's first film to enter 200 Crore Club and emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of 2014.



Ek Villain: There's One in Every Love Story is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures. Based on a script written by Tushar Hiranandani and Milap Milan Zaveri, it stars Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor, with Riteish Deshmukh and Aamna Sharif in supporting roles. The film tells the story about a young woman getting murdered by a serial killer and how later her husband tries to take revenge on the killer. the film became a major box-office success with earnings of over ₹100 crore domestically and a worldwide gross of ₹170 crore.


Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss, starring Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Freddy Daruwala in the lead roles, while Govinda and Sumeet Raghavan in supporting roles. It is an official remake of Murugadoss' own 2012 Tamil film Thuppakki and follows an Indian Army officer who arrives in Mumbai on vacation and sets out to hunt down the terrorist leader of a sleeper cell network and deactivate the sleeper cells operating under his command. The film was released worldwide on 6 June 2014. Made on a budget of ₹500 million, the film became a commercial success at the box office. With worldwide earnings of over ₹1.70 billion


Heropanti is an 2014 Indian Hindi-language romantic action film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film stars Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon in their Hindi film debuts, alongside Prakash Raj in a supporting role. A remake of the Telugu film Parugu, it was released on 23 May 2014. The film received mixed reviews, who appreciated performances of ensemble cast, action sequences performed by Shroff, and cinematography, but criticized the screenplay, pace, and narration. The film grossed approximately ₹726 million (US$9.6 million) worldwide. At the end of three weeks, Heropanti had collected ₹500 million (US$6.6 million) nett.


Lakshmi is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language biographical social problem film written and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. It stars Monali Thakur as the title character alongside Shefali Shah, Ram Kapoor, Satish Kaushik and Kukunoor. The film deals with the harsh realities of human trafficking and child prostitution, which continue behind closed curtains in rural areas of India. This film collected 40 crores from box office.
